Test firing of the Losat missile system

This is a test shot of the LOSAT (Line of Sight Anti Tank missile). It's being launched off of a HUMVEE, which carries two loaded canisters on each side (4 missiles total). The commander/gunner can acquire and track three targets simultaneously, and engage one. The missile carries a kinetic kill warhead .The Kinetic Energy Missile (KEM) is a hit-to-kill weapon, which uses the energy of direct impact to defeat armour and other targets. Instead of an explosive warhead, the missile relies on hypersonic speeds of upto 5,000ft/s speed to blast a penetrator rod through the heavy multi-plate armour. It reaches maximum range in less than five seconds.

Colbert questions Obama's 'blackness' (Hillarious!!)

In this video clip, Stephen Colbert points out that Barack Obama has referred to himself as a "black candidate." Colbert's guest, Debra Dickerson, disagrees with Obama's description of himself and says that in the American political context, Obama is not black.
Debra Dickerson is a columnist for Salon.com and author of the book, The End of Blackness. Colbert's character disagrees with the premise of the book, saying, "I want to come out right here and say that I'm against ending blackness. I believe that everyone has a right to be black. It's a choice and I support that."
